muster logs

View or tail logs for any service. Muster delegates to your logs.sh hook script, so logs can come from Docker, Kubernetes, systemd, or plain log files — whatever your stack uses.

Usage

bash
muster logs <service>

Behavior

NameDescription
logs.sh hook
priorityIf the service has a logs.sh hook script, it is executed directly.
justfile logs recipe
fallbackIf no logs.sh hook exists but a justfile with a logs recipe is found, it is run instead.
deploy log file
fallbackIf neither hook nor justfile exists, muster tails the latest deploy log file from .muster/logs/.

Examples

bash
# View logs for the API service (runs logs.sh hook)
muster logs api

# Interactive picker when no service specified
muster logs
Tip
If no service argument is provided and a TTY is available, muster shows an interactive picker to select a service.
